About Miss World

Miss World is the oldest international beauty pageant in the world that still held up till now. Miss World pageant was first held in Britain,in 1951 by Morley. The initial goal of this pageant is to introduce swimsuit to women. At first he just wanted to hold the event one time only, but in fact it is quite attractive many women to join the pageant so he decided to make the miss world became an annual pageant. At the first Miss World  pageant in 1951 was won by Kiki Hakansson from Sweden.

To win the Miss world crown not only the participants could rely on beauty, they have to collect some points of the show that followed , such as : Beach Fashion ( swimsuit ) , Miss Talent (singing , dancing , playing musical instruments , etc.) , Miss Sports , Beauty With a Purpose ( judged by how big the social role of the participants to help others ) and Top Model .

About Miss Universe

Miss Universe is an international beauty pageant that became the main rivals of miss world pageant. The first Miss Universe pageant held in Long Beach, California, United States in 1952. Miss Universe pageant is held by Pacific Mills, a company engaged in the field of clothing. In the first performances of Miss Universe, Armi Kuusela from Finland was crowned as the winner of the Miss Universe title.

To win the crown of Miss Universe, participants must have a minimum 3B criteria, there are: Brain, beauty and behavior. In addition they also should collect some points of events followed as: swim suit, personal interview and evening gown.

Beberapa hari ini media online dihebohkan dengan kasus dugaan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga atau KDRT yang dilakukan oleh Rizky Billar terhadap Lesti Kejora. Bagiamana tidak, pasangan selebritis yang sering mengumbar kemesraan di TV ini selalu diidentikan dengan pasangan yang harmonis dan sempurna.
